Nancy Dubois
- Nancy
Dubois is the owner and Principal Consultant of
DU B FIT.
Hailing from a small, rural town in Southwestern
Ontario, she works primarily within the province of Ontario as a
consultant and trainer in the fields of health and physical activity
promotion. In these roles, or as a trained, experienced,
motivational, energetic group facilitator, Nancy has worked with
many groups at the national level as well as in Manitoba, British
Columbia and Nova Scotia. Internationally, her expertise has
taken her to Chile, Finland and Italy. She is a motivating, creative
leader with groups, organizations, staff and volunteers who brings a
systematic, comprehensive, and visionary approach to the roles of
planner and evaluator. Clients have repeatedly found her to be
energetic, creative, task-oriented, and quality-oriented as a
speaker or project manager on the development of resources such as
toolkits, manuals or training programs.
Cathy Hall
- Cathy
has worked with DU B FIT for many years and provides administrative
support to projects in the form of scheduling, interviewing,
organizing data, and information management. Skilled in qualitative
analysis, various computer applications and logistics, make Cathy
invaluable to our team. She keeps us in order and is able to rise
to the challenge of any task asked of her.
Alice Strachan
- Alice
is a professional trainer and facilitator who can deliver content to
groups and work them through processes in an interactive, enjoyable
and engaging manner. Her experiences range from very
community-based groups, such as local sports clubs, to provincial
initiatives focused on the education sector. Alice is very familiar
with operating within the non-profit and government sectors, and has
worn staff, volunteer and consultant “hats” in both areas over the
years.
Tricia Wilkerson
- Tricia has worked with DU B FIT on many, many projects over the
years, primarily in the areas of data collection, report-writing,
and research. She has provided leadership in the development of
several resources and brings a strong background in health promotion
and evaluation as graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Health
Sciences program. Tricia has a whimsical yet professional approach
to projects and is often an essential and active part of the
“behind-the-scenes” team.
Susan Moore
-
Susan
provides administrative and program support to the Du B Fit team
performing interviews, collating research, organizing travel
arrangements and workshops, managing correspondence and occasional
“spruce-through’s” of the office!
Having
acquired a post-graduate Certificate in Health Promotion and
Education from U.W.O and completing the CanFit Pro Nutrition
Program, Susan has a strong connection and commitment to health
initiatives. Past endeavors include facilitation, Chamber of
Commerce Health Committee involvement, Job Development for Leads
Employment Services for people with disabilities and Volunteer
Coordination for Investing in Children’s Read~Write~Now Literacy
Program for grade two students. She has also volunteered with the
Middlesex-London Public Health Unit Active Living Network.
Susan is
a single mom with two small children and has developed excellent
organizational and time management skills. Her unique perspective on
community health initiatives derives from both professional
involvement and consumer participation in various programs.
